Our Mission

The Camel’s Hump Indivisible group is dedicated to using our collective voices and constituent power to defend our democracy and freedoms, and to protect communities under threat. Together, we will strategically wield our influence to resist the extremist MAGA agenda and the rising fascism.

Our Values

We model progressive values of inclusion, respect, and fairness. People may join at different times and come from different places. We look to include, not exclude.

Our Name

We chose our group name because to be inclusive of various towns in our region, and wish to recognize the traditional Abenaki owners of this land. 

The Indivisible Movement

Indivisible was formed after the 2016 election by two former congressional staffers, who created a practical guide on how to organize locally and pressure your elected officials to resist Trump’s agenda. It has developed into a nationwide grassroots movement with millions of members and thousands of local chapters. After Trump’s win in 2024, Indivisible pivoted, and has been fleshing out concrete strategies and tactics that collectively will help us limit harm, win back the House in 2026, and defeat MAGA in 2028.
